The OTR Leaderboard is managed by the Otford Trail Runners. For any queries please contact us at lovethetrails@otfordtrailrunners.com.

We are committed to managing your data responsibly. The Leaderboard exists for purely social purposes, and we only store as much data as we need to display the leaderboard and
to verify the the activities that are submitted. We will never share your data with third parties.

Types of data stored
Profile information

• First and last names - in order to show results on the leaderboard
• Strava ID - to accommodate "sign in with Strava"
• Profile picture URL - to help us verify athletes
• Sex - so that we can display male/female results

Activity information

• Strava ID - so that when activities have been imported from Strava we can prevent duplicate imports
• Strava privacy setting for the activity - so we know not to link to an activity anywhere on the leaderboard if it has not been set as public in Strava
• Elapsed time - displayed on the leaderboard
• Start date & time - to help us verify the activity
• Timezone - to help us verify the activity
• Distance - to help us verify the activity
• Moving time - to help us verify the activity
• Elevation - to help us verify the activity
• Start and end locations - to help us verify the activity

Data retention

We store athlete and activity records in perpetuity for the purposes of proving historic leaderboards for the club. However, data can be removed on request at any time. Athletes who have logged in with Strava can log in to the application and delete individual activities or their entire account (including all activities) at any time. Athletes with data that has been manually added by club a admin can request for its removal at any time. Contact lovethetrails@otfordtrailrunners.com.
